Whatever Happened to Dream Island?

Twelve years ago on January 2nd, 2012, Battle for Dream Island reached its conclusion. But the winner, Firey, would never receive his prize, nor would anyone throughout the following seasons. The island was bought, or presumably stolen by runner up Leafy, and seemingly vanished into thin air. If Leafy truly had stolen the island, she would have it in her possession somehow, would she not? So where did it really go? Whatever happened to Dream Island?

This story follows a young object of the name Football. They had only shown up for mere moments in the finale, and disappeared without a trace. They vanished along with Dream Island, because they were the one who bought the island.

It was an impulsive act of shock, pettiness, rage, confusion, and fear. Following the rejection of Firey, Leafy had gone into a panic as a trauma response sent the system's protector and memory holder, Football, into the front. They quickly tried to minimize the situation and make things right, but inadvertently caused possibly the biggest event in the world's history and ruined Leafy's life moving forward.

Leafy is the host of a Dissociative Identity Disorder system, though she is unaware of this fact. This is due to both the memory loss aspect of the disorder and due to her being literally, physically ripped apart by the others once they found out what "she" had done. This split her apart from her headmates and left each of them - Leafy, the host, Football, the protector, and Scarlet, the prosecutor - to fend for themselves.
